Privacy policy
Kickscor processes personal data to provide the service (account, social interactions, reviews and notifications). This page describes the data collected, why we use it, your rights and how to exercise them.
1. Data controller
Data controller: Kickscor, an individual project (no incorporated company), based in France. Contact: kickscor.off@gmail.com.

2. Data collected
- Account: Clerk identifier, verified email, username, display name.
- Activity: ratings, reviews, comments, likes, favorites, follows.
- Technical data: access logs, navigation traces, analytics events (if consented).
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Contract performance: account management, content publishing, social features.
- Legitimate interest: security, abuse prevention, technical logging.
- Consent: audience measurement (analytics cookies).
4. Retention periods
- Account data: kept while the account is active.
- User content (reviews, ratings, interactions): kept until account deletion or erasure request.
- Security technical logs: maximum 6 months.
- Audience measurement (analytics logs): maximum 13 months.
- Analytics consent choice (local storage): kept until the choice is changed or local storage is cleared.
5. Sharing with third parties
Clerk (authentication) — primary hosting: United States. Policy: clerk.com/legal/privacy
Neon (PostgreSQL) — Kickscor database hosting: EU region (eu-central-1). Policy: neon.com/privacy-policy
API-Football / football-data.org — match data providers. No personal user data (email, username, identifier) is intentionally transmitted in standard browsing flows.
6. Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data. You can also withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time. Any request is answered within a maximum of one month (GDPR Article 12).
7. Exercise your rights
- Export request: send an email to kickscor.off@gmail.com with subject "Data export request". We process your request within a maximum of 30 days in accordance with GDPR Article 12.
- DELETE /api/users/me/account: automatic account and related data deletion.
8. Cookie policy
Clerk cookies (authentication, essential) : required for sign-in, session security and account protection. Not subject to consent. Main cookies used: __session (user session, duration based on Clerk configuration, default maximum lifetime 7 days) and __client_uat (client state, persistent browser cookie).
Analytics cookies/storage (consent-based) : audience measurement and performance. Set/enabled only after acceptance, with analytics logs retained for a maximum of 13 months.
Durations : analytics consent is stored locally until choice changes or local storage is cleared. Security logs: 6 months. Analytics logs: maximum 13 months.
Third-party match-data cookies : match data providers are used by the service; if any third-party cookie is set via external integration, it will be listed here and handled under applicable consent rules.
Consent management : you can change your choice at any time from this website.
